Occupy Toronto
As the 'Occupy Movement' spread across the globe, on October 15th, 2011 thousands gathered at the intersection of King St. and Bay St. in Toronto and marched peacefully towards and eventually camped St.James Park. Just like the others in more than 900 cities worldwide, Torontonians too protested against economic inequality, corporate greed, and the influence of corporations and lobbyists on government.
